I have looked at Imagemap for mapping links to co-ordinance on an image.
It is very good for those that have the tools and knows how to figure out the
co-ordinance.
Is there something available where when someone wants to create page and use a
window select on the image to and enter the url
My users are experiencing a new error lately:
Cannot Connect The proxy could not cnnect to the destination in time.
This tends to occur when saving a page with a Navbox or Infobox.
Is there something in MediaWiki I can tweak to alleviate this?
Thanks
Bill
Thanks for those suggestions, Chris. I'm drilling down through them, one by one.
A further question - has anyone modified existing skins using child themes?
Is this a practical approach with the MediaWiki skins?

Shirley,
One alternative approach to re-skinning if you just need minor tweets to
the CSS for different pages is to use this Extension:

Did you try the tools listed on the extension page?
