Hi, although it does not happen too often, it seems like at the moment,
access to my website is slowed down considerably because of
meta.mediawiki.org. Is there a workaround where I don't have to access
meta.mediawiki.org. I think it was trying to access bullet.gif and stuff
like that?

Hi, I didn't access meta.wikimedia.org but the status bar shows it was
trying to get data from there. I wonder why and it hangs for a quite a while
before it fully download.

That's likely because your site is configured to use something from meta
instead of
