Holley conversions were quite common due to the lack of knowledge/understanding
(Zenith carbs) or poor designs that were failure-prone (Solex). That’s not a
blanket statement on Solexs’, as a lot of the older side and downdraft single
barrel carbs were quite reliable. The 4A1 was troublesome
Put a Weber in and forget about it.

Got the Georgia bonded title for the 2002 Indian Bajaj scooter today … about 10
forms but cost was only $100 for online purchased $5k bond … I bought it and
the filled out forms were in my email 30 seconds later then $1 for short
subscription to a vehicle report service and $28 in tag
It’s in MI, what do you expect? The tinworm is strong in them parts.

Actually I was thinking about it and yeah having the DAS really helps
with these issues, but there is also learning from failure, which was
discouraging me yesterday. I was thinking about what a PITA it was
going to be to try to move and load this thing with it slammed and that

I ordered a new airmatic pump for it thinking that might be the issue
with it being slammed. Put on the new pump where it is sitting, no
joy. Jumpered the pump relay and it started running and built up
pressure according to the scanner but nothing going to the struts. Weird.
It is throwing
