4kW is woefully undersized for most folks. I think 10-12kW is more what is thought of as 'whole house'. Smaller than the usual rope-pull genny. You could make it work, but you'd probably better be thinking 'tiny house', or maybe Green Acres. The usual electric hot water heater (tank) is 4+kW

That sounds like all the o-rings on the fuel lines (about seven of them I think) need to be replaced. IP stays in the car, just need to remove the intake manifold (new gasket) to get to all of them. Rather a tedious job, need to get the o-rings in advance. - Max Charleston SC On
