first of all, thanks to all contributors for making Merkaartor a great
piece of software.
There is one issue I encountered: When I import a GPS track and place a
node exactly on a GPS trackpoint, timestamp information is attached in
tags to the node. If I don't remove those tags manually,

Ant tags from multiple nodes...
Select the nodes; type in the tag and any value (I think you can leave
the value empty); now delete

So there's a workaround to be going with for the time being.
