Emile, the last time I tried my beta 4 install I didn't compile in the SSL stuff. I did a normal apache compile. For this one too: if you have a build scriupt or a spec file I can replay your scenario. One question, on your beta 4 setup do you set LD_LIBRARY or any other env. vars? I

I read that Emile installed beta4 on RH6.2 whithout problems. Well, I tried rpm -ta midgard-{lib|php} and mod_midgard. Tehy were compiled successfully, but when apache try up, midgard_site_groupt is undefined on libphp3. I'll recompile from scatch, but I though that shuold be easier. I'm

Well, I tried rpm -ta midgard-{lib|php} and mod_midgard. That only builds the RPMs. The libs are installed as a side effect of building the midgard-lib RPM (I really should fix that). Well silly me, that was the MP I was describing. The separate tarballs _do_ install themselves. Tehy

I had no complaints about 'midgard_site_group is undefined on libphp3', and I can't find that symbol. Are you sure it's verbatim? Oops. Sorry, It was a typo. the problem surely was on the order that build the packages the first time, I think. There no exist the problem, now.
