Hello,
I was hoping it could have been some "bad timing" with the snapshots
back then but the problem is still there with the latest snapshot:
this ethernet card cannot work under -current, but works fine under
6.3, and used to work under -current up to july-august (I'm sorry I

Hello,
So, my box was working fine from a relatively recent snapshot (first
days of Aug). Then I upgraded to a snapshot of Sep 5th, and I can no
longer connect to my local network:
dhclient responds with "got link" but ends with "no lease", and bge0
has no IP assigned to it.
Even if I assign

Hello,
I need help to diagnose where the problem is...
Below you can see traceroute and ping to facebook.com but the same
happens with other domains.
I restarted router, logs show no errors.
OpenBSD 4.8
#traceroute facebook.com
traceroute: Warning: facebook.com has multiple addresses;
In a ranking of bad troublereports, you'd take the fridge *and* the
car...
Please share with us how you connect to the internet, your interface
configurations, your routing table when you get the errors and when it
works, your firewall configuration and for fun, toss in a dmesg at the
end.

Hi all
I still have this issue with 4.9. Please let me know if I could assist
with any additional data. During the last week I had this problem about
3 times, so I can run tests when the issue is present but I don't know
what I could check.
I can

Hi there
I have a strange problem with network connectivity on a device of mine.
The setup is carp on vlan on vr(4).
The problem is that the link runs for 10minutes, 10hours or 10days and
suddenly it stops working. Doing a ifconfig vr0 down ; ifconfig vr0 up
solves the problem temporarly but as

Hi,
I have just updated from 4.3 to 4.4 on one of my boxes. All has gone
well except for the network device not being left up and running after
the machine has been booted.
The machine is running dhclient with the hostname file just containing
dhcp NONE NONE NONE. During the boot I see

Hi all,
I've just tried to build an ad hoc wireless network between two
OpenBSD machines (3.7, Generic Kernel) for the first time (while using 2
Linksys WUSB11 802.11b v2.8 adapters) and i've encountered difficulties
to configure the network. As i'm far from being a wireless network

Hello,
is there any way to tune the network parameters inside the kernel like
buffers allocated into memory ?
I have a OpenBSD box (3.6) used as a WiFi gateway and it manages MANY
VLANs and AP and from time to time the kernel crashes with a page fault
error.
Is there any specific parameter to
