Cher Amis,

I'm new to this mailing list, and don't know whether this is the right channel for this kind of communication. However: we are looking for partners for an European consortium. The consortium is going to submit a new project proposal to the European Commission on privacy and personal data protection on the Internet, especially with regards to interactive Web applications, mobile APPs, personal data retention on the Cloud.

You can find a preliminary presentation and some ideas of possible technologies we would like to implement in this presentation:

http://docbox.etsi.org/Workshop/2014/201401_SECURITYWORKSHOP/S06_PRIVACYandIDENTITYMANAGEMENT/CNIT_BARTHOLOMEO.pdf

The consortium is going to apply for funding from the EU answering a specific EU call (terms of reference here: http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/1050-ds-02-2014.html)

We think Mozilla is a great place to talk about privacy and personal data protection and we would be very happy to have Mozilla enthusiasts on board on this project! We look with interest to Firefox OS as a possible target for a reference implementation and would like to invite your community to join our project proposal.

Please let me know asap if you are willing to join. This is both an opportunity for fundings and work on state-of-art solutions for data protection on the Web.

Thank you very much and looking forward to hear from you soon.

Cheers,
Giovanni Bartolomeo
