We have set up remote access to our various QMGRs via terminal services.
In most cases we can see the objects on those QMGRs w/the exception of a
few. Any ideas why? - All are Windows Advanced Server 2000.

Presently, one of our more active QMGRs is set up w/four primary and secondary logs each 1000 cyls. We then archive to tape. The size of the logs and the all over process is performing well. However, management has raised the issue of when we have

The other day I had a channel in BIND status. I decided that I'd STOP

Using NETSTAT we saw that there were four TCPIP connections on that IP!!
We forced those and

Trigger Problem
Rick,
The transaction is not disabled.
We need to define process to start a job in MVS. The MQ manuals don't
seem to have any examples of this (we realize that APPL TYPE should be
MVS). We also believe that APPL ID should be CSQX START.
How do we define what BATCH JOB should be started (PROC name, JCL
member name to be submitted...).

I want to capture queue-level SMF records (subtype2) and from what I
gather to this point I have to specify class 3 when while doing a start
on the accounting trace (using the START TRACE command), but I can't put
my finger on the doc. Does anyone know where it's located or has anyone

A quick question as a rule, is it significantly
more efficient to specify variable messages as opposed to fixed in one
app, even though we are moving variable length messages, were specifying
fixed. Just looking for some quick opinions.
Thanks in advance,

We're experiencing an issue where we have 2 new queues (on an NT QMGR,

* The path and executable are correct - we can manually drive this and
the process works.
