Anybody knows why in nautilus head View-Icon|List|Compact toggle menu
items are now showed as check menu item??? Oh, and of course are
unusable...

It seems nautilus is in somewhat that can be considered maintenance
mode - some bugs are still being corrected, but new features are added
once in 3 years and nobody even cares to implement them fully.
Also I wonder if any nautilus developer ever visits

If you do visit the bug tracker then why does it take half a year (or even
more) to get ANY reply? Why nobody cares to review the
patches that are submitted in bug tracker?
