Thanks!
The Teensy has a USB port. You can send timing info there. Someone may
want to write that code. I have no strong inclination to make it
super-accurate, because it's just a table clock. It uses a DS3232 RTC
chip.
When I need to know what time it is with picosecond accuracy, I
consult one of
Me too. At least one.
Going to add Wifi for NTP?

I don't have a scope clock - yet .
I'm looking forward to seeing detailed specifications as and when.

I have a 2 digit design - though I don't see it fitting in to a light bulb!
If I want ed to make something really small then I'd look at the people
making watches and use their electronics.
My 2 tube clock is better suited to Z566/IN-18 sized tubes. In fact I have
used the same hardware to drive
Count me in! I have one other scope clock, but it's not too accurate.
Will look good next to the many Nixie and Numitron clocks..

Hi, I wonder if anybody knows of a 2 digit Nixie clock or kit? About 10
years ago I made a 2 digit clock housed in a standard UK light bulb for on
of my brothers. I purchased programmed pics from "Fixitsan" of Smartclock
fame.
I would realy like to recreate this clock, but can't seem to find
Text to these photographs got a little lost: Since Hivac was a British
company, these display tubes could have been for use with the old British
£sd currency, which was in use until 1972. Here there were 12 pennies to 1
shilling, and 20 shillings to 1 pound. See Comptometer photos

That 0 of the 10 looks quite odd. Is it made using 2 cathodes?

I think PCB material will outgas too much

Is there anybody making VFDs in small quantities ?
I'm wondering if it's possible to make the anodes and pins on PCB material
and just the grids and cathodes using the techniques from Nixies.
