It looks like it’s a 32.768 kHz crystal and a series of frequency dividers.
(maybe +/- a couple minutes per year?) I imagine (at a basic level) it’s a
classic TTL clock in SMD form.

I'd be curious to see how the timing circuit works and how accurate it is, I
believe Jeff didn't use a uC for that.

Hi Martin,
That makes sense !
I am highly interested
Is there any possibility that I can get more information about the tester?
Schema and also about the difference in supply for the EZ10A and EZ10B
I would highly appreciate that.

Great to here, it gives me a safe feeling.
Sadly there is no photo of the tester visible. May be you can try to send it as
an attachment instead of in the txt field. Perhaps the file size is too big?

Richard,
I have plenty of them, but at $225 each as I pride them. So, I could be a last
resort. I don’t know what shipping would be. He would be better off buying
from someone else on ebay or his local Craigslist.

... and now that one's been sold - a good friend of mine has just told me
that he is looking for one (or ideally two) B-7971.
He is in AUS, is there anyone listening that might be willing to part with
one (or two) working/tested B-7971 to ship to AUS?
