Hi,
Cause lighttpd was familar to me, I have used it under raspbian and Debian.

If your usage is simple, then bozohttpd's setup will be very simple. For
instance, my setup is just four lines in /etc/inetd.conf (two each for

I appreciate your work very much and your comments and advice will be welcome

Hi,
I just set up an LSI MegaRAID controller with four 10 TB drives which
happen to be 4K sector drives. Everything works swimmingly, but I did
notice that bioctl isn't yet aware of 4K blocks.
Here's my mfii0 and RAID volume:

Hi,
I've set up blocklistd on quite a few machines so far, and it has mostly
been straightforward and without issues. On the other hand, a few people
have locked themselves out and I can't figure out how or why from what I
see in the logs. Now it has happened to me, and I'm still clueless.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,

Hello, all,
I'm trying to figure out how to create a mirrored set of disks using
bioctl with an mpt controller:

No idea what's wrong with arcmsr, but

Scan attaches new devices, you probably need to detach sd0 first.
That works as expected on an amd64 system - I get

Hello,
I have two Areca RAID controllers which I'd like to use with non-x86
systems. One is an ARC-1110, the other an ARC-1160ML. I've been testing
the ARC-1110 on NetBSD 8 on an amd64 system and on an Alpha.
The card shows up fine on both systems:
arcmsr0 at pci6 dev 14 function 0

Is it still not possible to boot from raidframe on GPT?
Booting from a GPT partition within a RAID within a GPT is not currently
supported. The best workaround would be to put your root in a
unpartitioned/disklabel-partitioned raid device.
Hmmm... So I created a standard ffs wedge for the

Hi, all,
Since tmux is part of a standard NetBSD install, I've been using it
instead of screen. So far, so good. However, I've noticed that it
accumulates a LOT of CPU time even when the underlying tty and shell are
doing absolutely nothing. On a 60 MHz m68060 system that's been up for 53
Hi,
Is it just me, or does netbsd-7 from 17-Jan-2016 have issues with
fc-cache? Not that it should matter, but this is on an Alpha system. It
was updated from NetBSD 7.0 to netbsd-7. From postinstall:

Hi,
I cannot answer, but it is not a good idea to use netbsd-7. I
experiment a lot of disk corruption (ffs2 with log) since my last upgrade of
netbsd-7 (8th of january, 2015, amd64). I have downgraded my system to
netbsd-7-0 (cvs).
It's funny you say that - I've had all sorts of problems
Hi,
I have a Sony laptop on which I want to run NetBSD 7/amd64. NetBSD 6 boots
fine, but NetBSD 7 defaults to acpiout0, which appears to be the VGA
output, instead of acpiout1, which is the laptop's LCD screen. How do I
switch between those outputs?

Hi,
Is there a better way to install and update trusted root certificates in
NetBSD? The recommendation of using security/mozilla-rootcerts from pkgsrc
isn't a good one; first, it assumes that a system has NO other
certificates (/etc/openssl/certs/ must be empty), and second, it leaves a
