You should try to edit /etc/fstab and put your windows partition. Mine is hda1 for C:,
and hda5 for the second partition, which is D: for DOS.
Here is the two lines I append to /etc/fstab :

Because this partition is busy, which means you are in a directory of

version of Mandrake 6.1) and I can't get my modem working.
The hardware is a Dell I7K and a 3Com/Megahertz 3CCM156
PCMCIA modem. I'm not sure whether to start checking the
PCMCIA stuff, or keep fiddling with the

Since I am totally ignorant of everything in the Linux world, I tend
to believe what I read and what people who have experience of Linux tell
me. In one guide for Linux newbies it is recommended that an 80 MB root
partition is quite sufficient, and people have told me that Linux programs

System Commander as your boot manager)
If you write LILO to the MBR, you will erase System Commander. You need to
write LILO to the first sector of your Linux partition.

Yeah, it's a big problem, postfix and sendmail where both picked when you
hit everything, and they screw with eachother, the fix is to remove one.

I got that same message and had to take the modem out and look at it
and it was a winModem. I am not sure if it that is your problem or not
