The 550C driver works pretty well - some of the colors are off, but beyond
that, its working OK. I hadn't thought to try a model number that far down

after you fdisk /mbr you have to sys the disk
sys c:
if you have norton utilites it will fix the boot partition for you.

Aaronit's not really a secret. You need to change the
first line of /etc/lilo.conf to point at the / partition (or
/boot partition if you have one) instead of the mbr. For
instance if the first line of /etc/lilo.conf ended in hda then
you need to change it to hda1 if 1 is the / partition.
