Curious, I have 7.1 and all systems work for me. I have noticed that some problems are being experienced on dual boot systems. I have 7.1 on a stand alone AMD K-6 400 Soyo Mother board and except for lack of experience and understanding it loaded linux first time with not much of a problem. I
