I was changing the video setting in Mandrake
Control Center on a 9.0 system.All I changed the video card, tested
it, then logged out of KDE.
Now I cannot login to the system unless I am
root. None of the users can log into it.

It is. There are a couple of ways to do it depending on your setup.
The cleanest way I've found is to install Mozilla on Windows and have it
import everything. Then copy that stuff to a Linux readable part. and
import to Evo.
