All, I am having the same problems in 10.2 that I was having under 10.1. It seems that the Intel IPW2200 driver is installed, but will not load. I manually try to add a wireless device using the New Connection tool. By default, it doesn't see the IPW2200 (and yes, radio is switched on).

Yo, Gang. I just found this site (in Canada of course! Grin!), which has some very nice howto's on configuring a variety of Mandrake services and applications. You might want to have a look. It seems to deal with Mandrake 10.0, but I suspect that many of the howto's will also work with 10.1.
