I notice that there is cpufreq now in Mdk10.1, which is great, my notebook now
can run longer on battery. However, KDE starts very slowly (around 5
minutes). I suspect it is related to cpufreq. Is there anyway we can control
cpufreq?

Hi guys,
I installed ACPI on my notebook, previously, out of the box mandrake gave me
APM. But, from the list it said that ACPI is better, so I replaced APM with
ACPI. Yes, it works. The fan now runs less often. But, something is bothering
