[newbie] Writing to Windows Partition as Linux user

Hi Folks! Gotta a question . . . I really enjoy Mandrake 7.0 a great deal. Because some of my apps are still Windows based, I still have a dos partition on my drive. I can bring it up in LInux but am unable to write to it. Anyone know how I could enable the partition to write? Thanks! Mike
