I've done it several times, hoping to trim the fat and increase
preformance. I've removed several unneeded options, thinking that they were
dead weight. I've never seen any difference in the way the system runs.

Look at the help file, section 7 I think. Assumning you're using the kppp
dialer. There was a lot of helpful info there for me when I was using my
ISA modem.

As root, edit lilo.conf and change 'default = windows' to 'default = linux'.
Save the file.
In a terminal (again as root) type '/sbin/lilo -v' without the quotes of
course.
Reboot and watch.

his router is internal, there is a chance that
there are no drivers that work under Linux. I mean, it ain't
gonna route if Linux doesn't recognize it as a device and is able
to assign an IP address to it. That is all I was trying to say
