Lots of good info. Was able to look into a few things but the wiring in the
rusted bucket is a mess. Spent most of my time using never dull on
everything that was rusty. The bucket is a mess theres even some wires that
arent connected and others are only connected to something halfway. no clue
It looks fun, and AC would be nice on a sandy beach, but they also look
incredibly dangerous for the road to me. I suspect with LIMITED VISION AND
VIISBILITY, they will have many more serious accidents. And you can't get
away from it. It looks so Hollywood. Time will tell.

TRASH that's mail from my trash account. My regular email account at home
is not working. Till I get a chance to figure out what's going on...just
TRASH.

Next week I’ve got a week off from work, and I’m planning on taking my NH
north from Atlanta into the great unknown. I’ll be doing Deal’s Gap and the
Dragon (that’s no-brainer), but after that I’m open to suggestions. I’ve
been told that Gatlinburg is very nice and well worth a visit, so
Depending how far north you want to go, you could get to the Shenandoah
National Park in VA. It is really cool, and we could even try to meet you
there.

Try a good bookstore for Motorcycle Adventures In the Southern
Appalachians (Book 1 - Milestone Press) by Hawk Hagebak, a retired
Cobb County motorcycle cop.
As Ed McMahon might've said EVERYthing you wanna know is in that
little book...
It's a slim volume that'll fit easily in a tank bag and he
BTW, be alert thru the Chatahoochee National Forest, if you go there.
Deer, bears and...wild boar...reclusive and rare, but they're there

Thanks surfswab for the book reference and animal warning. The local Barnes
Noble gives me a recorded message and then hangs up. Just ordered books
12 from Amazon but didn't pay for the 2-day shipping, so I'll have to wait
and see if they come on time for this trip. In the meanwhile, I'd still
Route 81 cuts right through it, if you want a highway. Check out routes 29 and
11 for a rural route through the mountains. The best route I think you are
looking for would follow along with 81, but mark out a route of side roads.

If you have nice, smooth roads, a little over max load won't hurt.
But if you have lousy roads like we have where i live i'd x some of that
weight. The stress will take its toll in due time.
Yes we have seen some real overloads from some pics but the speeds we can
attain put greater stress on

Just don't do it during the weekend when the cars and bicycles are out.
Otherwise you will go insane from seeing the incredibly twisty road in front of
you but, being restrained to 10 MPH or less. Apparently cars cannot pass a
bicycle going up steep grades.
