Are there release plans for the SVN trunk?

The test.battery.start.quick command behaves exactly as when using
APC's own software. The battery

i have 5 of these upses in total (smart-ups 1500 xlm monitored via

how can i further troubleshoot this?
You could try running upsimage.cgi manually, maybe you'll get a useful
error message.

I use an APC Back-UPS RS 800, overall my experience with NUT is very
good but there is one feature I am missing: the ability to ask the UPS
for a battery
not get any notice about it. Simply,
the command isn't executed, which made me wonder at first if there was
a bug in the driver. I think it would be more user-friendly to warn
about failed authentication right away.

it because the Windows software that APC
ships does implement it, and it worked OK last time I tried (several
months ago.)

For reference, I have an APC Back-UPS RS 800 here and it says (with NUT
2.2.2):
battery.temperature: 29.2
(...)
ups.load: 33.0
The load value is correct. The temperature is fake (it never changes.)
Same firmware version as in the original report (9.o4 .I).

Please do, that would free me to do other tasks (and I won't be in from
May 1-13 anyway). Thanks in advance!
I forgot about this, but now I see that Stanislav did the package split
in openSuse 11.0, without me asking for anything. Great, thanks
Stanislav, and I take no credit for it.

That depends on your system. Some will 'remember' the last status before
the power is cut, others will startup on the application of power.
On some systems you can select the behavior in the BIOS.
