This afternoon, ~ 2:45 PM, 17 Turkey Vultures "kettled" over our condo
property in Riverhead, Suffolk Co. A few as low as ~ 100', and others
almost out of sight, without the aid of binoculars !

Since I was in Riverhead this afternoon, I thought I would go out to
Cutchogue and see if the birds were still around.
I went north on Cox Lane to the end(There is no sign post indicating
Oregon Rd. so I turned Left (West), and after a few hundred yards, I saw two
cars parked off the road

Ed Galliard spotted a warbler along wire fence @ 79 St. Transverse, south side,
along "ski slope" meadow
Renee & I joined in and noted yellow undertail coverts, gray cap, long dark
tail, olive back with some streaking on underside

I was surprised to observe a pair of common ravens at the Babylon train station
this morning. One bird vocalized in a decidedly non-crow like way, which
initially drew my attention, as crows are frequent there. Both birds perched
atop a high telephone pole before heading west over the RR
