[nysbirds-l] Mountain Bluebird on Cedar Beach, Suffolk County

Hi all, Francisco Rodriguez saw and photographed a Mountain Bluebird on Cedar Beach (Suffolk County) by the overlook today. He posted as a drab Eastern Bluebird on Twitter (X) and based on his photo I identified the bird as a rufous-type Mountain Bluebird. He will add many photos to eBird soon.
