[Okular-devel] [Bug 136574] Wish; Show videos in a pdf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136574 --- Comment #18 from Oliver Sander sander mi fu-berlin de 2011-01-19 09:43:59 --- AFAIK there has been no progress. I had a look at the relevant code recently. It seems that the remaining issues (like missing autostart and poster features) are not bugs, but features that haven't been implemented yet at all. In particular, it appears that poppler (the library that does the actual pdf parsing) does not expose all the relevant information to okular (I think that is what the poppler TODO item expose Rendition media through the MovieObject API means). Hence further progress involves additions to poppler, and even additions to the poppler qt4 interface. I think the most difficult part for people without okular/poppler hacking experience are the interface enhancements. How are they supposed to look like? How is the movie poster image supposed to get from poppler to okular? Maybe one of the experts could comment on that. I would find implementing the actually functionality much easier with that information. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel

[Okular-devel] [Bug 263631] New: European Union e-Forms don't work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263631 Summary: European Union e-Forms don't work Product: okular Version: 0.10.5 Platform: Debian testing OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: PDF backend AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: spill...@kde.org Version: 0.10.5 (using KDE 4.4.5) OS:Linux There are certain e-form documents which seem to reload their content dynamically and otherwise only show a fallback page. Similar to noscript in HTML. Yuck! Test form: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/eforms/documents/test_form_en_1.10.pdf Is there any solution on the horizon to support this format? As I don't currently have a newer KDE system running, can anybody confirm that this problem still exists for trunk of Okular and/or poppler? [Okular-devel] [Bug 182989] Trim Borders does not work in presentation mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182989 --- Comment #5 from Albert Astals Cid tsdgeos terra es 2011-01-19 20:07:07 --- It is not a bug, it is a wish request since the feature was never meant for presentation mode. Now, to answer Could someone explain why it won't be fixed? there are several valid answers: * When i feel like implementing it * When you send us a patch to implement it * When somebody else than you sends us a patch to implement it Then for the first and third options there is always ways to increase the possibility of it happening like you paying for it or giving else something that people might like. But i can tell you the arrogant approach usually does not work. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
[Okular-devel] [Bug 263700] New: Order of the pages
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263700 Summary: Order of the pages Product: okular Version: 0.10.5 Platform: Debian testing OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: l...@alaxarxa.net Version: 0.10.5 (using KDE 4.4.5) OS:Linux When you ask okular to show two pages, okular begins on the left. This behaviour is incorrect if you begins with a even number. The odd page should go to the left part of the view and the even page to the right, this criteria is the usual criteria in our books, newpapers, etc. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Put the page 1 on the right alone, and after, the odd pages on the left part of the view. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
