I've noticed that okular is especially crashy with certain documents.
The manual for the Kodak Z1012IS:
http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/18921/
was especially crashy (download the 'Extended' User's Guide).
I also converted the document to postscript and the PS version was ALSO crashy,
especially page-to-page.
