The barrel screws hold the window glass into the frame , after you get the
assembly out of the door .
There are four different size clutch head screw tools , NAPA Auto Parts Stores
sell the set .

Use a 6 point socket on my longest 1/2 drive flex handle (Misnomer : breaker

Do you have an original steel windshield frame or one of those cool
aluminum re-pop ones ? .
In either case , the glass is sandwiched between the frame halves
with glass setting tape , available from some old Chevy Truck
Vendors and glass shops . once the frame is re-assembled use
Nah , just glue one of whatever typ you can find , onto your cut open
rockerbox .
Fel-Pro (maker of the worst gaskets on Earth) used to offer these in
rubber , they leaked profusely .

GM K-D Tools both used to sell cute little rocker stoppers you'd
clip on to each rocker so you could correctly adjust the rockers

Get a piece of 2X4 and a mallet and knock the Road Draft Tube firmly

least 24 hours before installation and then how to adjust when the
engine is running . the pre-soak is _critical_ as they need to be
bled out _before_ installation and they'll never , _EVER_ self bleed

That's the _Caster_ Gary .
Proper caster is adjusted by bending the _ends_ of the beam , otherwise
you adjust both wheels at the same time , not good practice .

Remember as you're looking at intake manifolds that 216 has a
different size ports than the 235/261 one does so be sure to measure

Back in the day , we used VW Beetle motors and often , the linkage
too .
Then along came 1967 and 12 volt VW wiper motors , life was good .
Pretty much any old two speed wiper motor will work , you just need to
center it then see if the crank's offset matches the needed stroke of
the wiper

Take the nasty , dirty greasy old starter apart and clean the
commutator and free up the brushes , if they're really short ,
install new ones , grease the bushings and it'll work fine .
Adjust the switch so the electrical contact isn't made until the
Bendix is meshed in the ring gear
Go to the local Cruise In and take pen paper , talk to all the
fresh paint guys , good and bad ! ask then who they liked , who the
didn't like and why .
Be prepared for the painter to want to re-prime and block sand it as
few DIY'ers ever do it well enough through lack of experiance , not
Try The Truck Shop on Batavia in Orange , Ca. , they sell both
Fulton and the other primary brand of sun shades in re-pop , quite
affordably , primed and ready to paint .
Before you paint it to match the truck , test fit it then have the
_underside_ painted a dark metallic green , like that

small ruler or calipers to measure the bore as it's right there ,
open .
The rotted rubber dust boot failing is the # 1 cause of master
cylinder failure... dirt and oil get in and contaminate the rubber .
