I think you are reffering to a piece of very thick wire bent to go between
the dash knob and the motor lever. Unfortunately, I am traveling or I could
send you a pic. Something you might try

and a 1/2 years since i started this frame off. Real close to starting my next
project . Thought id spend today installing my windshield wipers and motor.
looks like there is only two ways the motor can be installed.

There is a small linkage that extends from the bottom of the dash mounted
wiper switch to the wiper motor that activates the vacuum. I just happened to
remove my motor today in order to send it to Fickens to be overhauled. I've
added an album to the group photos section entitled
