Yes it can,
It currently adds metadata to published streams (the metadata you expect
to be there like, audiocodec, videocodec, duration), and has full
onMetaData event support on vod files, so it supports id tags from mp3,
and all other formats..

Talking about metadata, anyone else thinks there should be a standard
for it? At least an interface to guarantee minimum information,
currently each encoder adds its own stuff.
