Hello,
It seems that at present Paraview 3.2.3 supports only the Loop
Subdivision. Can someone
explain some reasons for not including other methods ( Specially Sqrt3,
Butterfly and Doosabin) or any plans to include them in future releases ?
Thanks.

To try to solve your problem another way, you can create multiple readers that
read files with the same extension and resolve which one to use by implementing
a CanReadFile method. Before assigning a file to a particular VTK reader
class, ParaView will try to run a method called CanReadFile
Jean,
Has the large grid ever worked in the past ... I may have
broken the extents when I modified the parallelism for spatial
collections.
If I broke the parallelism, that might explain the slowness
on smaller grids.
I'm assuming that the Xdmf xml just specifies a single
structured grid.
I think I see the problem. I'll test a fix tonight, probably check in a fix
tomorrow, and this should work in ParaView 3.4.
