Has anyone been able to do this?
I am using Linux with Qt5.3 and CMake 3.0.0.
I have set PARAVIEW_QT_VERSION to 5
QT 5.3 is found OK
It seems that there is an issue with double colons in target names as
evidenced by the CMake generation warnings raised:
Hi Brian,
It is actually relatively easy to achieve what you are after. You need two
parallel pipelines:
- Surface - Clip
- Slice
You need to link the plane widget of the Clip and Slice filters such that
they are identical.
Note that although this is visually identical to clipping with a
Michael,
You can still build the same plugin. On windows build, just disable
the parts that don't build on Windows. SInce ParaView does indeed
load separate libraries for the same plugin on server and client, it
will load the linux plugin with reader on the server and the panel
code on Windows.
Hi Utkarsh
Hackish, but simple, I will give it a shot. Thanks

Ah, I see, the spreadsheet view says that your cell types are all Empty
instead of Vertex. You can confirm that by file-save dataing the file
out as vtu ascii and you'll find:
…
DataArray type=UInt8 Name=types format=ascii RangeMin=0
RangeMax=0
0 0 0 0 0 0

Hello,
How do I configure the client when pvserver runs on multiple nodes via mpirun?
e.g. cn01, cn02, cn03 and cn04.

Dear users,
I am creating a macro for automatically clipping a polydata. I would like to
have cubic boxes as implicit function for clipping (that is to say, clipping
along x,y,z at fixed distances)
Unfortunately I was not able to find the documentation for clip type properties
in case of box.
Ahh yes there it is. I hadn't recompiled after changed the value of the cell
type from 0 to 1. Thanks for the help! I hadn't thought to output as ASCII so
I could look at the values of the file. This has been immensely helpful, thank
you!

Hello
I feel I am very close to getting this but I need some help.
