Hello.
Anyway, ParaView has not full support for Fluent files (cas + dat). It
doesn't see all the variables (at least in versions up to 5.0.1 RC2 that I
use, although I know that I should update to 5.2 or 5.3). Instead of
reading Fluent format, I convert to EnSight (in Fluent) and then read in
Hi!
What would be the best approach in order to achieve this configurations:
1) Remote rendering in a cluster and one client with 6 viewports(Cubemap)
2) Remote rendering in a cluster and X clients with X viewports
Thanks in advance.

Roman,
Thanks for the error report, it provides some useful clues. It looks
like ParaView is crashing when collecting information about the
mounted volumes on your system. Do you have an external drive or
network file system mounted on the Mac Pro that is crashing? If so,
could you try to unmount
Hi All,
I'm working to compile the paraview superbuild(5.2.0) on OpenSuse13.2 with
osMesa enabled(for HPC related CPU in-situ computing). I'm seeing a compile
error:

Dear sam key,
thank you for the fast reply. Actually
Hi again community!
I have been testing Paraview 5.2.0 in a CAVE mode with pretty big data (1+
billion points) while remotely connected to some HPC servers.
PROBLEM: In CAVE mode, I get the below error when I try to change mode from
"Outline" to "Points". Same issue while doing other things as
Hum, that is weird.
It could be a bug.
Do you mind doing a diff between the 2 python modules between 5.2 and 5.3.
Twisted should be the same. Then on the ParaView side, I'm not expecting
much difference.
Thanks for tracking that down...

If your intention is to make the colormaps available to the client
connecting to a pvserver running on your cluster, then alas, there's no way
currently. You'll have to provide your color maps to the users so that can
import them on their desktops.
If your intention is to use the color map is
Yes, I'm sure there is no twisted library in my system python.
I rollback to version 5.2.0 and everything works fine.
Can be a bug?

That's exactly how the force time filter is expected to be used. It could
be more easy to use a PythonCalculator instead of a Programmable Filter. to
obtain the same resultats.

Alan,
Wouldn't it be possible to use ForceTime filter on the dataset at your desired
timepoint, then make it and the original dataset as 2 inputs to a programmable
filter. You should then be able to subtract the variable from the two inputs
and get what you want.
Am I missing somehow that
Dear all,
i'm for a long time experiencing a contour plot problem in 3d. Our
scalar data is on a cylindrical (R,Z,\varphi) grid. A 3d contour of the
data produces correct "2d contours" in the RZ plane, but the contours
are elongated in the \varphi direction, even if the data prefers another
Hi,
I just want to add additional color map to ParaView but I don't have
access to GUI (it is installed to a cluster with NVIDIA EGL support). So,
I just wonder that which file must be edited to include colormap manually.
Is it lib/site-packages/paraview/ColorMaps.xml? If so I could not see my
