Thanks for reporting the issue. I've pushed a fix
( http://www.paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=14498#c32284 ) that should go
into master in the next gatekeeper review.

Hi,
I just ran across what looks to be a bug

If there are no qualms, I will work towards making the changes to set the
default PARAVIEW_QT_VERSION value to 5 and deprecating Qt4 support.

You can scale the glyphs by applying a transform to them.
Under the Properties panel, there is a Glyph transform section that
you can use to scale glyphs.
Hope that helps.

Hi Miguel,
Are you building ParaView against Qt4 or Qt5?
You mention that you have installed Qt 4.8 libraries but you're
providing the path to Qt5 version of xml patterns library.
Make sure the following CMake variables are set:
QT_QTXMLPATTERNS_INCLUDE_DIR : To point to the path
olor and opacity mapping yourself. You
won’t have access to the color and opacity transfer ParaView sets up,
but you can create your own internally. Not the most elegant solution
— but a solution, nonetheless.
