I've been lamenting the small size of the K-1 buffer, but some back of the envelope calculations make me think that the big culprit might be bus/transfer speed. I'm finding it very tough to find actual sustained write speeds of SD cards, all of the ones I'm using these day list 80-95 MB/S on
