Thanks for the look & comments Alan. The Q is nice for street work &
with a $15 adapter and the 40mm pancake Pentax lens it is a very compact
200mm+ combo, although these wer taken with the 70-200mm Q lens, which I
will take on a trip next week as a backup tele.

It occurs to me that If I am back on the group I should maybe not just
lurk and silently mutter. I should also post a picture or two. So
today's offering is a small album called Q Street. All but one taken
with my Pentax Q while standing on one street corner in my little town.

I agree with Jack about the "rule" well let's call it a guideline. I
don't think it applies here. As the subject pretty well fills the frame
touching the edges is not a visual problem. This photo is meant to be
art not a textbook exemplar.

The first one is too good to call a mistake so just say it turned out
better than you thought it would. The deliberate one IMO has a little
too much going on outside the blur but the concept has merit.
I don't know if I could come up with ten mistakes like that, but if
we're going on that
My thought (not original, credit Rick Sammon) is: one blurred photo is a
mistake (admitted in your case) 15 blurred pix is a style. So an exhibit
of 10 sharp photos and 10 blurred photos might work. I like the color
and abstract part of the photo but I don't know of the use for such a
photo.

peonies but usually a rainstorm beats them down before I get there. This
