I've been living in the same location for almost 41 years now. Twenty years
ago, we decided that rather than moving, we would do a major renovation
which involved parking a storage trailer on the driveway and moving out of
the house for the summer while we added a second level to our bungalow.

Good news John!
Moving can be a pain, but also a good forcing function to rethink what you own,
to think about what you really need.
In my early 40’s I was joining a group, the get-to-know-one-another topic was
“how many places have you lived?” I came up with 37 different addresses where I
