Interesting game indeed.
Ran it about ten times usually between 1500 and 3000. High-score of 3264 with
one 1000-pointer in there.

Yes, itis annoying that they don't give you the actual correct answers
in therms of what is going on... maddening..
I wonder if doing a screen shot of the photo itself , save the file,
and then doing an image search on google would result
in a captioned photo..

... and another thing - when you get to the end of the game and receive
the results it should have some kind of captions to tell you something
about the photo besides how wrong you were about the year it was taken.
Some of them are pretty obvious. I got one of the guy running with the
Olympic
I wonder how they score them? Looks like it's 1000 if you get it right
on the year & 900+ if you get within one year, ... but I wonder how much
they deduct per year.
But it IS a rabbit hole!

thought 1932 and it was 1950 and 6 years on the other 2005/2011).

Here is what I saw:
(1) map of holland on wall - happy people 1945 I got this one right
on end of WWII so 1000 pts
(2) USA 1950 looks like arizona or nevada.. I guessed 1954 the womens
That is really weird.. I only saw one photo that I thought was in the
USa and I didn't recognize where it was.. had no idea where the really
old photos
were taken .. I did nail one photo for 1000 points but I dont remember
what it was now..
does the quiz know your location and intentionally

All photos I've been shown were clearly from the USA and I've been off
by ten years with all but one.

interesting about what you see I saw nothing from the USA.. it is rather
intriguing I may go back to it now and then.. However, it can't help
that between 1960 and 1980 I had no TV.. but funny that you posted
this quiz at the same
Yet most of the pictures I get to see seem to be more centred upon the USA, or
things relating to it like the Vietnam war.

This is clearly a better quiz for you guys on the other side of the
pond. Also better for guys who can id vehicles ages in street scenes..
Interesting thing about fashions.. there are differences for same time
periods across countries.. so that poses a problem for
us over here..

3905 - I was lucky. A group of Japanese women standing next to some tar and
paper sheds; a street scene with a poster for a Stallone film and a racing car
start line with everyone dressed in gnomex suits were easy to date to within a
decade. The Stallone one was dead on.
If you run it again,
Well, I scored 3437. What did you get?
