Is one under-priced?
It's a tempting lens.
Colin,
If you provide a subject line, you'll get more responses.
Buying the 17-28 would be good if (1) you shoot film, or (2) you are sure that
Pentax is going to produce a camera with a 35mm format sensor.
The 17-28 fits the Pentax digital bodies nicely, but doesn't provide much

I don't think the later version of the operating system would be

Engineers at Pentax have developed a prototype camera with a shutter so
fast; it can actually capture an image of a female with her mouth closed! No
news on when it may reach the market.

Totally agree.
Society today, in the U.S. does not take responsibility for its actions.
Witness the plethora of law suits.
I blame it all on the rise of the idea that a corporation is a person.

I've finally had a chance to start processing some of the pictures I
took this weekend.
These are from Seacliff beach Thursday night. There was a dead
pelican (I think) on the beach that some gulls were fighting over.

Damn it Bill. Stop that!

I've never seen any additions to subject lines, other than RE, from Bill or
anyone else. Some mail programs add junk or Spam tags to suspect mail, but
mine has never tagged a PDML message.

I'm reading PDML mail with the web-based GMail reader. I don't see
[SPAM] in any of the subject lines.

Ken, bad news indeed. I'd second Ecke's idea - the K-x is rather close in $$
and you'd get the best high ISO performance this side of the k-mount frontier.
I'm not suggesting the K-x would be THE replacement for the K20, but all the

Hi Ken,
I might skip the repair and buy a K7. You should be able to get one for less
than $1000 now. Keep the K20 as is as a backup camera that works only with a
crop. Or fix the K20 and sell it for a bit more than you paid. I think you can
still get $450. I got that much for my K10 about six

I kinda felt I had to repair it as in good conscious, I couldn't sell it as
is without taking a hit in the sale price.
And I would want a k7 over the k-x.

Yeah, I would be inclined to just get a new camera at this point.
Either the K-x for the low light or the K7.
