you should check out http://www.x-cart.com
Their pro cart looks like it will handle what you
want. Not free, but you do get the source code.
Plus it uses smarty (smarty.php.net). Right now I am
working on an osCommerce project and while it is a
great project I cannot believe it has come so far
You might want to look at eShox, it's based on osCommerce, but in my opinion
it's quite a lot better.
