yes, i think this is the same phenomen. But i do not have to edit it
always, when i start evolution. Only when a new version on debian comes
up.

Then no, it's not the same bug and I can't imagine what's going on. I

I've never seen this confirmation message when I used the Thunderbird
so I thought it a Evolution bug.
But if you think, it's expected Evolution's behavior, let this bug closed.
