locale command and internationalization support lacks

Hi Miriam (Vroby, and all Debian game packaging community), do you think locale | grep LANG can solve the internationalization problem, when interpreters like sdlBasic still lacks on this, from the viewpoint of people may get interested on helping with translations? cheers, Paulo
