Bug#454720: gnome-panel: main panel corrupted with kde applications

2007-12-07 Thread Jean-Luc Coulon (f5ibh)
Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.20.2-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

If I launch a kde application (i.e but not limitied to amarok, k3b,
rosegarde, ...), the main gnome panel disapears on all the desktops.
If I move the mouse over the place the panel should be displayed,
it appears again as if 'automatically masked' was enabled or the
main menu of the application appears instead. In this case, only the
entry located under the pointer appears not the whole main menu which
is always hidden even when activated in the kde application.

Regards

Jean-Luc

Bug#454877: Podcast errors

2007-12-07 Thread Matt Kraai
Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.10.1-1+b3

Some of the podcasts that I subscribe to are blocked when I'm at
work. Each hour, Rhythmbox displays a dialog for each of these podcasts:

 Error in podcast

There was a problem adding this podcast. Please verify the URL:
 http://odeo.com/channel/128283/rss.xml

I'd prefer that it didn't display these dialogs.

Bug#454785: gnome-desktop-environment: user has to know about theme file locations, unconvenient

2007-12-07 Thread Brian Kudowski
Package: gnome-desktop-environment
Version: 1:2.14.3.6
Severity: normal

Hello,

when the user wants to change a theme he can preview the theme, but then has
to install the theme via the Install Theme... button. He is then asked for
the theme file location. Why does he have to input manually, if a preview of
the desired theme was available in the list before?
