it's a bug in ffmpeg for which a patch exists already, and which is
also going to be worked around in the next release of gst-libav1.0.
See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=831529 which is
fixed in ffmpeg 7:3.1.1-4
