In case it helps someone, branching from 1.6.5 and applying the attached
patch addresses #729771, which only needs libasm3-java added to the
build-deps.
However, Emmanuel and Steffen have most recently worked on m-d-h and it
looks like there is a lot in flight for
groovy_2.2.1+dfsg-1_amd64.changes uploaded successfully to localhost
along with the files:

This can be fixed by setting the compiler source/target level to 1.3.
The new version of maven-compiler-plugin defaults to 1.5 and breaks some
packages like felix-bundlerepository.
Setting the language level is done by adding these properties in
felix-bundlerepository_1.6.6-2_amd64.changes uploaded successfully to localhost
along with the files:

libjansi-native-java is not a JNI package, but instead installs a JAR
that is used by libjansi-java, which in
