Laurent, could you get a look at the activemq log files please? If there
is a jar missing there should be a NoClassDefFoundError somewhere and
we'll know what is actually missing.

I guess this is caused by a transitive recommended dependency. The
recommended dependencies of libactivemq-java are indeed optional, but
one of the libactivemq-java dependencies probably has a recommended
dependency that is actually required.

I tested the patch that YunQiang had proposed.
Small modifications are needed to apply it on latest debian gluegen2 version
(2.3.2-5).
Adapted patch is attached.
Using mentioned patch I was able to build gluegen2 for mips64el.
It seems that there is no need for any other changes, even my
