Bug#711890: Non-utf8 characters in changelog

2013-06-10 Thread Enrico Zini
Package: jffi
Version: 1.0.2-9.1
Severity: normal

Hello,

the latest changelog entry is this:

  jffi (1.0.2-9.1) unstable; urgency=low

* Non maintainer upload.
* Remove Torsten Werner from uploaders.
* Don't hard-code dependency on libffi runtime library.
  Closes: #646593, #707797.
* Fix build failure with GCC 4.8. Closes: Ã#701301.

Note a non-utf8 character before the last Closes: bug number. This is
currently breaking nm.debian.org changelog parsing in a way that I
cannot fix.

I'm trying to see how to get data in dak cleaned as a temporary fix, but
can you please upload a new version with a fixed changelog soon?

Thanks,

Enrico

Bug#640485: Torsten Werner's email address is corrupted

2011-09-05 Thread Enrico Zini
Package: libjsoup-java
Version: 1.6.1-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

the package has this Uploaders: line:

Uploaders: Torsten Werner Torsten Werner twer...@debian.org

this is breaking several tools that parse control files. I'm trying to
fix the debtags website to cope with this as we speak, and you can see
the PTS showing wrong PTS links and email addresses at
http://packages.debian.org/sid/libjsoup-java

Ciao,

Bug#254891: acknowledged by developer (Kaffe and Eclipse works)

2006-01-18 Thread Enrico Zini
On Wed, Jan 18, 2006 at 12:03:07AM -0800, Debian Bug Tracking System wrote:

I tested to install and run Eclipse with current kaffe in unstable.
It installed fine and worked with kaffe-jthreads. kaffe-pthreads gave an
assertion but that is a kaffe bug, not an eclipse bug. I will file a bug
 against kaffe.
Therefor I close the bugs against eclipse concerning kaffe.

Hi. How come you're closing this bug and opening a new one, instead of
reassigning and retitling?

Ciao,

Enrico
