checkstyle in Debian

Hi,

Was just wondering why checkstyle hasn't been updated in a while. It's
now 2 major versions behind.

7.5 was uploaded to experimental last year, but never went to unstable.
Latest upstream is 8.8.

Do you need some help with this?
