Hi,

not what it actually offers for functionality, that's quite
impossible to assess if you
because I understand that 'java' would be for programming
related packages, whereas FreeMind is for end-users.

Hello,
PLEASE, create a new package for this version of Jibx: 1.2.x is not
backward compatible with 1.0.x (and neither with 1.1.x), and FreeMind
0.9.0 depends on version 1.0.x (and doesn't work already with 1.1.x).
I'm trying since years to get a newer version of FreeMind and failed due

Great, thanks!

Hi,
sounds to me that the best resolution would be to remove xerces-j as
well: no software depends on it (says 'apt-cache showpkg'), and it's
been superseded by xerces2 since ages (also upstream).
I'm no DD but let me know if I can help.

Hi,
This is not a important bug.
You can check this: http://www.debian.org/Bugs/Developer#severities
This bug probably has minor or wishlist severity.
I do not fully agree: pdfsam doesn't follow the Java Policy, which

Hi,
Actually, unless Groovy 1.5 really needs Java 6 features (which I would
tend to doubt), the maintainer should compile the package with Java 1.5
or even 1.4, so that it works with all Javas.
As a side note, Java 1.4 is still state of the art on many non-x86
platforms.

Hi,
please modify the override file to have the section saying 'libs'.
Justification: Java libraries, to the difference of C libraries, are at
the same time for runtime and development usage. We consider that it
makes more sense to put all Java libraries in 'libs' as 85% of them are

Hello,
I'm currently looking at taking over groovy, because I need it for
FreeMind 0.9.0; but FreeMind needs Groovy 1.0, and Groovy 1.0 is requiring
the version 2.2 of ASM in order to compile. I like those cascading

Hi Pablo,
I didn't check this specific package, but you should most probably try
to change to the top directory (must contain a 'debian' directory) and
from there run the command 'dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot', this will
recreate a package (with the same version, but...), that you should then

it appears that for the next version of libforms-java, hopefully to be

As CVS doesn't offer the possibility to remove a file, how should this be
handled?

should be fine.
I just have an issue with ant vs. libant1.6 and gjdoc/javadoc (see
http://bugs.debian.org/324884). How strict are you on this one? :
