Until this is resolved, you can download a working package of
Eclipse/CDT and run it directly from the unpacked directory:

Also, if you've got a little free time to build it, I've made an Eclipse
to Code::Blocks workspace converter, currently in Beta, but has

This bug started for me after installing and removing two UML editors
that interface with Eclipse: Omondo, and Poseidon, using their own
installers rather than apt. I suspect these
